Nunu Mchedlishvili Corrodi was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. She studied Applied Natural Science at the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany and did her Diploma Thesis in Neurobiology at the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research (FMI) in Basel, Switzerland. Nunu obtained her PhD at the ETH Zurich, Switzerland, where she studied chromosome segregation in mammalian cells in the lab of Prof. Patrick Meraldi. As a SNF and EMBO fellow she investigated microtubule cytoskeleton remodeling at mitotic entry in mammalian cells in the lab of Prof. Buzz Baum at the University College London (UCL), UK. She joined the lab in April 2017 as a Lab manager to replace Valentina Marcelli during her maternity leave.
